Accommodation -

All residents will be held responsible for the care of hostel property.

All residents are required to keep their room clean & tidy and to conduct themselves in such a way that common areas are also kept clean & in good order. They are expected to contribute for creation of homely feeling atmosphere.

Clothes are to be washed only in bathroom.

Furniture must not be removed from rooms. Any breakage or damage must be promptly reported to the Hostel Warden. Repair cost may be recovered from the residents.

Calling Bell is not permitted in the rooms.

Lights and fans will be switched off, when not in use.

No additional electrical or other appliances are permitted in the rooms.

The college authority will not be responsible for the resident’s property including valuables. Residents are advised to keep their valuables under lock & key and lock their rooms when they are not in use.

The college authority reserves the right to enter into and search resident’s room in their presence, without notice.

Library -

Florence College of Nursing has a well equipped library with all the Medical Nursing Books & Journals. It is open from Monday to Saturday, during working hours.

Library Timing

Monday - Friday 10.00 am to 5:00 pm

Saturday 10:00 am to 1:00 pm

Meals

The students are required to join the mess.

The meal time will be adjusted according to classes or duty hours.

Breakfast 6:00 am to 7:00 am

Lunch 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm

Tea 5:00 pm to 5:30 pm

Dinner 8:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Visitors

No visitors shall enter the gate of female hostlers without permission of Principal / Warden.

Residents are also required to limit noise during day time & while staff & Students are studying or sleeping.

Visiting is permitted on every saturday from 5 to 6 pm and every Sunday from 9 am to 5 pm.

Each visitor must sign the Visitors Book on arrival / Leaving time

All visits must take place in the visitors room only.

Visitors are not permitted to enter into any residents room at anytime under any circumstances.

Before allotments of rooms, a form will be signed by perents/local guardian to give the names of those people :

a. Who may visit the student

b. From whom the students may receive letters, etc.

c. The names of the people whose homes, the students is allowed to visit.

For Local Student, only parents can be local Guardians. However, if both the parents are staying Outside than Local Guardian should be married couple. Two Photos of their Guardians are required to be submitted.

(Male) Shirt & Trouser, White Apron, Socks, Shoes.
